It took me a while to finally write this review because I was struggling not with my results, but with my recovery. I had double jaw surgery a few months ago and this procedure is no joke. That said, now that I am many months out, I can finally appreciate the wonderful work of Dr. Wasson. Besides the medical issues the procedure corrected (holy cow, I can BREATHE!) the care and attention taken to the aesthetics of my face is incredible. I still look like me, but with an actual chin now that is not an implant. He quite literally accomplished exactly what I wanted. It's astounding how accurately he nailed it. On top of that, his office and entire staff are lovely and extremely responsive every time I had even the tiniest worry. Thanks for my new face and new life, Dr. Wasson!

I waited over a year to write this review because I wanted to be fair and allow full healing before sharing my experience. Now, 1.5 years after my DJS surgery in 2024, I feel I can’t stay silent about my outcome. Unfortunately, my results with Dr. Wasson were far from ideal. I experienced a severe infection, relapse, an open bite, asymmetry, bone loss, nerve-related issues, and ongoing pain. I did know I was considered a relapse risk, and I accepted that going in—but I never imagined the outcome would be this devastating for me. What initially drew me in was the excellent bedside manner, easy communication, and friendly office environment—qualities that truly do matter and that many other offices I consulted with lacked. I appreciated that aspect. Dr Wasson spent a lot of time with me pre-op answering questions. However, despite those mentioned positives, my surgical outcome was not successful at all, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this office.

I drove from Utah to work with Dr Wasson. I had MMA for sleep apnea. Dr Wasson has been so wonderful. Recovery has been pretty painful, but the surgery went very well and I'm breathing better than ever. Dr Wasson is very skilled and will take great care of you!
